Nikos Stathopoulos serves as the Chairman of Europe and is a member of the Management Committee and Investment Committee at BC Partners, a premier international investment firm managing over $40 billion in assets. He joined BC Partners in 2005 and brings nearly three decades of expertise in private equity across a number of sectors and geographies. He leads the TMT investment vertical in Europe and has successfully led significant franchise investments for the firm, including Acuris, Pharmathen, ComHem, United Group, and Springer Nature. Previously, Nikos was Partner at Apax Partners in London, and prior to this worked as a Management Consultant with the Boston Consulting Group in London.
Nikos is Chairman of the Board of United Group, Nova, DentalPro, Cigierre, Keesing and PetCity, Vice Chairman of the Board of Springer Nature and a member of the Board of Advanced. Nikos is a member of the Global Advisory Board of Harvard Business School, the Board of Trustees of the American School in London, the Board of The Hellenic Initiative, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Chairman of the BC Partners Foundation. Niko holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a degree in Business Administration from Athens University of Economics & Business (AUEB). He is also a member of the Wall Street Journal CEO Council.
